Today, we're leaving san juan to showyou the top places and hidden gems, onthe, north west and southern side; of Puerto rico we're going to be joined by, a native tour guide and YouTuber toget that local perspective watch thisvideo before you plan your next trip to puertorico trust me you're, Gon na love this itinerarywe created for you, because some of these places are gon na. Take your breath. Awayso. This area here is giving me these. Like rio, de Janeiro vibes are so colorful.

How did this cometo be? What they want to do is to visualize the community, they're, painting the communities withwarm tropical colors, and now they brought it to life and it's basically a touristy. Stop this isso amazing, because you can see how close we are: tothe water. You can just see that turquoise sea ofagualia and then we have what feels like a music video like you should shoot. A music video here, ifit hasn't been done yet shoot something here.

Iwas lucky enough to meet some of the locals. Andi talked to them, and they explained me how waslife here and how, basically all of these housesare passed down family by family and all themembers of the community. This cat's got the lifehi buddy hi wan na, be in our video, how longdid it take them to like paint everythinghere actually about two or three weeks: two threeweeks yeah, but now they're going to come, againbecause they're going to renew do thewhole paintings. This is the lighthousethis ruiner was when spain tried to invadepuerto rico. This is where they fought them.

Well, christian. If you couldn'ttell we're in puerto rico, oh yesif, the almost 50 flags we saw we'vealready passed by, didn't give it to youwith. You sure i cannot escape anywhere. Even inthe jungle here, my horrible reputation back home. I love this ladder all right.

This looks prettysturdy. I think right yeah, it actually shakes alittle bit. Hey. We always got ta get the coffee inhere, not even like i'm, just like blown away bythis view. Oh my god.

Wait till we get to the middlepart, so this was built by the spanish in thelate 1800s, but then, when the united statescame and invaded puerto rico - and they took overthey, took over everything from the railroadcompanies in the island. So they wanted tobuild this into a rebel tracks. But it was laterscrapped and turned into this beautiful bridgei've gone ziplining in hawaii costa rica. I justfeel like i'm on a zip line right now: goingthrough the jungle. This is absolutely incrediblelike.

My jaw dropped when i saw the ocean there i'mlike. Oh, my goodness, you want your jaw to dropeven more look straight down. Oh you're right, our next stop just five minutes from thatbridge and the drive down here alone, isworth coming for what we're about to seeis gon na make it a little more special. The beach here is incredible: the views areincredible. We have this old ruin from the spanishtime here right.

Yes, exactly it was used as anadwana or like a port of entry. There'S also a lotof forklift around this part that the most famouspirate el pirata covresi used this place and a lotof the caves around this surrounding area. Asa high point: i have not wanted to have a drinkthis bad in so long. This place makes mehonest enjoy life. I just enjoy puerto ricothat's why they say that puerto ricans, like todrink team, adriana living her best life down there.

They turned this into this epic instagramspot and you're, telling me that this used tobe abandoned here. Yes, exactly so everything yousaw here, i would say, maybe in the 70s it was ifi'm not mistaken at this potential restaurantafter that it was completely abandoned. It saidabandoned nasty criminality. It was reallysketchy place, but as everything as the puertoricans do, we came together as a community andthey brought muralists, they cleaned it up. Theycompletely remodeled everything.

You know what ilove about this. I have no idea what the heck isthrough that tunnel you're just just intothe abyss here. This is what it used to beit was a train tunnel, the originalplans and the inauguration in 1906so. It was completely just left to sit and rothonestly, you know, be a cruel joke if you hadthe sound of an incoming train and just playedit really loudly for people who didn't knowwhat. This was i had friends yeah that usedto do underground parties inside of herei feel like we should be on some kind of likeone of those little kid rides.

Yeah that'd, bepretty, neat. Okay. I see i see some of the graffitiyeah exactly you can see a little bit of it. Andthen you come out in the ocean. Amazing views, youdrive 25 minutes away from san juan yeah and itbasically turns into a jungle.

You'Re gon na see somany mountains. You'Re gon na see beaches. You can gofive-minute drive from a beach to a river to themountains. It'S that diverse secret beach, the endwow. This is it man.

This is the view. It'S so closeabout three hours from new york, city and yet idon't think it's on the average tourist radar youthink. That'S a shame! Even the food, the culturethe music, everything here i feel it's completelyunderrated we've been showing the world we've. Beenhere we've been screaming it, but we still feellike we're underappreciated more than anything, most important part of any boat, tripcooler full of alcohol and a littlewater.

This feels good man all right, guys, thisis cayo caracoles. I hope you guys enjoyed itthese are like those little juice packs. Youwould drink as a kid, but the adult version of itthis really does remind me like snorkelingthe florida keys. I did that once then at afraction of the cost that you would pay inthe florida keys, that's an expensive place island. It'S really iconic!

Even when i was a littlekid, my parents had a boat and almost every weekendwe would come here and we would stay the wholeweekend just from key hopping from little key toanother one and that little branch over therei used to jump from down there. It was such anamazing time this is such a hidden gem for localsand. I know i'm not not a lot of tourists knowabout it, my girlfriend's, actually real ben does infact have a girlfriend, although she's drowning him. I feel like we're walking on mars right now. Yupbasically - and you said this is millions of yearsold - this formation - yes right there as you cansee, that's the entrance of cueva de lindo it'sa little bit tough, but we're gon na get youinside of there.

So you can see how we do itright here. It was a filming location, forpirates of the caribbean if i'm not mistakenthe. Fourth installment of the movie totally geta pirate vibe. Here i could just see that ship good advice, definitely wear closed-toedshoes, do not wear flip-flops up. Hereyou will regret it.

We looked down because i wantto surprise you with the best view of the wholearecibo, so bart you have to look down. I want you idon't, want you to look that way. Okay, am i lookingkeep coming this way? Look at this view. Oh my godwow, that's like arch.

After arch after arch beachbeach beach and christopher columbus, yep funfact about that statue that almost nobody likesis, that it's bigger than the statue of libertyi'm a little too claustrophobic to go in thecave, but tonga is going to show you how to doit. This is a little bit of a dangerous place. Soif you're, not with a guided tour like the onesi, give. I don't want to shameless plug myselfbut. You need somebody to do it orif you do it.

You have to know how toat least rock climb the basics andhold yourself against the wallsand. You sit down right here and pull yourself pullyourself. With that hand, there you go and you cansee here a natural jacuzzi look at the water howclear. It is look at how many petroglyphs there arein all of this wall. They say it's over 200 to500 different petroglyphs already certificatedand authenticated.

Please do not do this. A lot ofpeople come here graffiti. Make their own stuffplease. Do not do that. We want to conserveour history.

This is our outerworly, i swearcrash boat beach. This is the one thing on thisvideo, that's really famous, but i felt like we'dbe doing our viewers service that we didn'tshow this for them to visit 2022 And yeahexactly, since this is a really historic and famousbeach, but it's not over high, because the waterscompletely blue and clear the day is perfecteverybody's having fun and enjoying the suni mean people can just jump inthe water here whenever they want. Just like that baby, it normally takesyou, like 10 minutes to jump in the waterno. It'S so nice that i'm like just like let'sdo it definitely one of the nicest beaches, inpuerto rico, just for the day, if you're atourist easy parking - and i mean look at it - this ice cream is like melting before my eyesgotta eat. This thing fast, it's dripping everywherethe play here.

Is you get your ice cream and youwalk around the plaza here? This is absolutely abeautiful city and yes, i never really thoughtof ponce as a spot that i wanted to visituntil. You told me about it and i don't think itgets anywhere near the attention of let's sayold san juan, which is like the big tourist hubbut. To me, this looks equally as beautiful yesa lot of the spanish colonial influence on thecity. This is a really old city too.

You know andmost of the buildings. You have hereare honestly, 1800s early 1900s, you gowalking around sightseeing all of the architecturearound, the ponce square. You get art, deco, buildingsyou, get colonial buildings, you get weirdvariations that are just the perfect pointfor, a walking tour and just admire thearchitecture and the history of the town, literally like an andy warhol museum for free thatyou just walked through the lobby. This is so cooli feel like we're in scarface right, nowit's kind of like a museum. It'S a barit's, a hotel, music video.

No, i don't know if you want a quick diversion when you're inisabella a little bonus check out the paseotablado de isabella. It'S basically a boardwalkthat. You have this direct view of the ocean. Andthis isn't like your typical view. This is actuallyreally nice.

So it's a little bit of an adventureif. You go to the middle and climb up, but totallyworth it for some pictures, very cool spot, andexcellent conditions for surfing and the legendssays that every time you say, jacinto bring the cowthat the water comes up, how close is onewilling to get to the edge okay. Here we go check out our puerto rico, playlist linked hereand. If you want to book a tour with christianlink down below in the description thank youso much for watching, as always until next time.
